Strengthening Korea–China BBQ Industry Exchange and Bringing Korean BBQ Professionals to Guangzhou
AOBE 2027 – Asia Outdoor Kitchen & Barbecue Equipment Expo is honored to announce that the Korea Outdoor & Barbecue Association (KOOBA) will officially serve as a Supporting Organization of AOBE 2027.
As a professional organization dedicated to the development of outdoor barbecue culture and the BBQ industry in Korea, KOOBA has been actively contributing to the growth of the Korean BBQ community through professional education, competitions, cultural activities and industry exchange. Its efforts have helped bring together BBQ professionals, enthusiasts and industry stakeholders, while promoting the development and wider recognition of outdoor barbecue culture.
We are especially honored to receive the support of SHAKA, Cha Young-Ki, President of KOOBA and Secretary-General of the International Outdoor Barbecue Sports Federation (IOBSF).
With his extensive experience and passion for the BBQ industry, President SHAKA has been actively involved in promoting professional BBQ culture, competitions and international exchange. His dedication to connecting BBQ communities across borders has made him an important contributor to the development of the international BBQ community.

President SHAKA to Speak at the AOBE BBQ Theme Summit

As part of this cooperation, President SHAKA will join the AOBE BBQ Theme Summit as a featured speaker, sharing his insights and experience with BBQ professionals from China and around the world.
His participation will bring valuable international perspectives to the summit and provide an opportunity for industry professionals to exchange ideas on the development of BBQ culture, professional BBQ activities and the future of the outdoor barbecue industry.
AOBE is proud to welcome such an experienced and respected figure from Korea’s BBQ community to its professional summit program.

Connecting Korea’s BBQ Community with Asia

KOOBA will also support the promotion of AOBE 2027 in Korea and help organize a Korean professional buyer delegation to visit the exhibition.
Taking place on May 15–17, 2027, at the China Import & Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, AOBE is Asia’s only professional BBQ exhibition, bringing together BBQ equipment manufacturers, brands, distributors, retailers, professional buyers and industry professionals from around the world.
Through the cooperation with KOOBA, Korean BBQ professionals will have the opportunity to discover the latest BBQ equipment and outdoor cooking solutions, connect with leading Chinese manufacturers, explore new sourcing opportunities and engage with international industry peers.
